Research into the use of AGNs

Would you like to get £15 for 1 hour and a half, whilst furthering your student experience by participating in social research using state of the art video teleconferencing equipment like that recently installed in the Department of Computing? No experience necessary!

The Department of Sociology are investigating how Access Grid Nodes (state of the art video teleconferencing) can be used for social research. The research is funded by the Economic & Social Research Council National Centre for E-Social Science (NCeSS) http://www.ncess.ac.uk

...We are currently looking for people who are happy to meet with us using one of the Access Grid Nodes.

If you’re happy to take part in a research group interview, we would like to talk to you firstly about your experience and attitudes towards the UK court system. Secondly, we would like to ask you about how you felt using the Access Grid Node and meeting in this way. Everything you say will be private and confidential and your identity will be protected in the findings. If you decide to take part you are still free to withdraw your consent if you wish to do so.

If you would like to know more about the project don’t hesitate to get in touch using the contact details below. You can also find out more about Access Grid Nodes and the project from the AGN website. We look forward to hearing from you soon,
